In his meeting with the Slovenian Economic Development and Technology Minister , Mr. Zdravko Počivalšek head at Tehran Communication Museum
Dr. Vaezi stated that : « Development of the relations between the private sectors of both countries requires trust between governments » . ICT Ministry’s Public Relation Center reports that Dr. Vaezi expressed today in his meeting with Mr. Zdravko Počivalšek , the Minister for Economic Development and Technology of Slovenia , that : « Fortunately you are visiting Iran at a time when in just a few days , the economic sanctions against Iran shall be removed » .
He also referred to the existing prospects for cooperation in infrastructure , telecommunication , post services , satellite technology and other ICT sectors including that : « This meeting is a good start for bilateral cooperation , and we expect productive results from it » . Expressing his pleasure at the opening of Slovenia’s embassy in Tehran , Vaezi added : « Inauguration of the trade center with the presence of four Slovenian firms is a very positive step in developing a bilateral relationship of the two countries» . The ICT Minister stated that : « Slovenia , which was once part of the Yugoslavia , was strong and well - known in the electronics sector , and we also officially recognized this new country after that » .
Vaezi further elaborated by saying : « At the moment, the active presence of about 2600 firms in the ICT sector of Slovenia and its $2 Billion trade exchange is a clear indication of these facts » . Stating that Slovenians have come to believe in working in the ICT sector , Vaezi went on to say : « Without doubt , Slovenia can count on Iran’s huge market in the ICT sector . ”
Vaezi expressed that : « Various communication projects are implemented in Iran in the fields of data transfer , optic - fiber connections , and data - center establishment , and there are also some highly capable companies active in regard to ICT and the software and hardware sector in Iran » . He emphasized on developing cooperation in political and economic areas between Iran and Slovenia , saying that : « Developing and expanding private sector relations between two countries require trust between two governments , and this can be realized through the supporting determination of both governments » .
He stressed the opening of the Slovenian embassy in Iran as a positive step in facilitating the interactions between the private sectors of both nations stating that : « Iran is particularly focused on three subjects » . Describing the three topics Vaezi said that : « If our bilateral cooperation projects exceed a certain size then we require the involvement of the banks of both parties in these projects » . He underscored the possession of advanced and well - known technologies between both countries as highly crucial , adding that : « We must be able to exchange experiences and technical know - how between our countries » . Vaezi highlighted paying attention to Market as the third important criteria , and concluded : « It is our expectation that if we offer a market to a country , we also should have an equal opportunity for having a market for Iran in that country » .
